Have a reminder function for programmes

Does anyone from Sky ever look at this fourm, If they do they give it a right good ignoring, starting to seem a little pointless.

Hello All  I hate to disappoint you but I don't think that Sky take any notice of these post's

And only add the extras to Sky Q that they want & they are not going to let anyone return

To Sky+HD which would reduce the revenue return for them  Why would They.

I think Sky Q is a Good system although it could be better there needs to be a lot more

4K content but the mainline Broadcasters are not going to UHD anytime soon so the

Chances are pretty slim. But We Live in Hope ............🤔

Why is reminder function not on Sky Q. I waited 4 months to get sky q installed only to find it no longer has the function. Where did you do your research ? I certainly wasn't asked

Agree  especially as issues with catch up... but, I've put a favourites list of channels and means far fewer to scan through...Can decide to record and can see when that starts, and just cancel it or, wait and start a little later so can skip through adverts.... I  have had one day and getting used to it already but yes would change for one with reminders function in the future.

I love Sky Q....apart from the lack of the remind facility. It's such a simple thing to add but, as others have mentioned, I really don't think Sky take any notice of our comments.  I've gone on a backward step & now buy a TV magazine each week to highlight the programmes we want to watch or record. Not ideal really but the next best thing & maybe worth a thought for others?

annoyed I didn’t know this before i got Sky Q if I’m honest be nice to have the option maybe an option to turn it on or off depending on your preference

ok, majority of people prefer to record, but a lot still like to watch it as it's on.

I've lost track of the shows and films i've missed because of this.

Would it really have hurt to have kept the option to schedule it to play it when it starts on tv?. sky q is not impressing me at all.

The mini box saves directly to the main box and there is no differentiation between the mini and main box saves so even if you do record something one of the other family members comes along and thinks I don't remember wanting to see this or recording and deletes it, becasue, it's another thing in a list of crap you didn;t really ant to keep on your box that you have to sift through to watch somethign you do want to keep

. it's meant to be functional and i don't see removing a useful feature for the sake of one option extra on the "record, record series, or schedule to play" a good selling point, and tbh i wouldn't have bothered upgrading  if i had known.

Having to keep an eye out at the time for your show or sift through everything you watched to watch it is a pain.

Please bring back the Reminder function and put it on Sky Q, not having it is impossible and we are seriously considering packing Sky in, we keep missing the programmes we enjoy watching.

I miss the reminder function so much! I'm missing lots of my programmes, absolutely the wrong decision sky!!!

I need the reminder to program the channels at night. I suffer from pain and sensory processing disorder, so I need the TV on all night and I don't always want it on the same channel. Please can you add the function, so that the TV can change channels at night, without being woken up by a noisy TV show.

I've just had my SkyQ installed in my house, i must admit if I knew before it was installed that a lot of the functions from the old system were missing I wouldn't of up graded. 

There's a lot of people on here commenting about the reminder button and the listing buttons, but you never here anything back from Sky themselves in response.
