Have a reminder function for programmes

Good afternoon, we have just had Sky Q installed, and I am working through the various features, disappointed to see that the remind program has been removed, not happy a backward step. Sky please bring it back and listen to your loyal customers.

New to sky q. Really annoyed it does not have the reminder function. I want my old sky + he box back, if sky does not restore this function. Will be following this up with sky support

Surely so many people can't be wrong. The reminder service was there for a reason 'too remind'. 
we all don't have the luxury to watch tv for hours on end. 
there are many things you want to watch live as it happens. Not recorded!

I find it a poor service Sky now offer,  without my reminder service.

Have been posted on this or any other forum that I have seen

Which I assume means that this suggestion is not a priority

Very inconvenient to not have reminder option. No one needs to record 25 programmes at once instead, or whatever silly number it is.

Programme reminder was really useful for concurrent programme esp. sports and movies and if you wanted a regular reminder of a series whenever it resumed even next year......visual prompts may even avoid huge numbers of recorded programmes clogging up the memory

We use the reminder to do what it says on the tin, to remind us that a "live" programme is on that we want to watch NOW. We were watching it a lot, so the lack of this very useful item could mean that we 'dump' Sky Q for something else. As a, so called VIP Customer of over 20 years, it's time to listen to all your customers.

After using sky+hd for many years I’m really disappointed that I can’t set reminders on sky Q. The only down fall it has.

How stupid are sky removing the reminder of the sky q remote will definitely finish with them when contract finishes unless it is put back.utterly disappointed and fed up with them.

• I like to go through the TV Guide at tea time and set reminders for the night ahead, that way I don't have to try and remember what's on, what channel at what time! Reminders are a great idea  for those of us who like to plan our night, please add this feature to the sky Q  box it would make life a lot easier

Or maybe have a feature to turn the reminders on or off to your own preference.

Very disappointed to discover AFTER installation this function is not available.   

Its not a deal breaker but it it’s going to be very annoying for me.

Would  consider going back to old box... hate not being able to set reminder... Am generally unimpressed with the Sky Q box
