Because the sound issue apparently has multiple causes and along with the video glitches that still afflict some V2 boxes with Q15, I would be surprised if we saw Q16 before late summer.

.... and they are also only offering "improvement", not a fix.

Q160 ain't gonna work is it?
It's all just stalling tactics whilst the V4 box is more thoroughly tested and prepped for release at some point in the near-ish future. The global shortage of components has probably slowed the timeline for its arrival too.

Please don't say they said they hadn't heard of the problem before 😱. Good luck with your complaint.

I have had the V3 box for a fortnight now and last night was the first real impact of the sound drop outs and only got worse.
I called this morning and the agent (called through VIP number on app) claimed to have not heard about it.
My complaint has been referred to a manger. For what I dont know.

@Ben1980 Agents likely told not to admit to specific issues over the phone.

@CyberFriday I'm also using a different router to the one Sky provided but still getting sounds drop outs - these are pretty much the same as your video, mostly shorts losses up to a couple of seconds although every now and then the sound goes entirely and the only way to get it back is to stop / start a recording or change the channel.

You do realise some of your nonsense has just spilled out onto your keyboard?

@NickNewark Agree with you. Lady night was bad on both live TV and recordings. There is clearly something variable in the issue. Feels like something on the Sky transmission end must also be getting tweaked to give this effect, i.e. it's not just the box!

It absolutly drove me insane last night, the drop outs are every couple of minutes now.
£50 for a box of dross. I'm just going to troll them on twitter now as it's the only way i can get pleasure out of this misserable setup! 😡😠

Oh @Rhonny it's what I live for. Wild theorising and speculation is all part of being a Russian bot. It keeps this whole ridiculous mess entertaining. 🇷🇺🤖
