@Rob1999  Live TV was where I spotted it first and is where I took the clips from that I previously posted.

Touch wood, I haven't been affected on live TV either.

My experience is that apps are worst affected, with Netflix being the worst by far.

Recordings and live pause are next worst, with live TV being the least affected. It's still a problem with live TV, but it's only occasional dropout, not the constant barrage of drops I get with Netflix.

I think the inconsistencies are making it very hard to resolve. Different boxes, different situations for different folks.

For me it's just Amazon Prime and Sky Cinema. Any other downloaded/recorded/streamed program is fine. And live tv is fine too.

Touch wood indeed.

Had Virgin for two years and never had an issue. Also loved the Tevo box. Great for recording.

Mine seems much worse in the evening. Has anyone else noticed that? We're it watching sports using sky now. Everything else through Freeview as it can become unwatchable at times with dropouts and picture freezing.

My broadband seems slower as well but maybe that's just a coincidence.

A bit off topic I know. But has anyone else noticed a reduction in the time that you remain logged in on the portal ? Are they trying to drive up their user login stats ?

Same for me. It's a right pain. Takes a while to login too. Their IT infrastructure seems to need a bit of an overhaul. I had an email reply to Sky Store bounce back yesterday with a mass of Office 365 error messages relating to Sky's email server. Not ideal from a large telecommunications company...

Update from me,

watching longest yard live, no dropouts no glitches no nothing, paused for a few min come back and it's glitching again, skip forward back to live and it's gone.

So I don't think it's a HDMI or a decoding  issue more likely a bus speed issue, HDD issue, V ram issue or some other issue with read from the HDD.

Happily watching Prime The Exspanse Season 5 Episode 1 on Sky Q available in Dolby Atmos FireTV gives me three audio selections Stereo, Dolby Digital, Dolby Atmos,

The Sky Q prime app for the above episode doesn't state 5.1 but the next episodes do

Watched episode 1 twice with no dropouts with audio settings HDMI DD+ and Optical DD but again I do have a V2 Box 32B106
