Apple seem perfectly capable of getting all Ch4 content available in the All4 player on their Apple TV box. It does seem strange that RedBee/Ch4 are able to provide all their content to Apple, but not to Sky.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreBlaming Red Bee seems to just be an excuse as I cannot believe this wouldn't hit every devices that All4 runs on.
@TomAC1987 's explanation of the issue seems more likely to be the problem.
However, it's even more worrying that Sky keep deferring to Red Bee being the problem instead of owning the issue and dealing definitely with it.

I think C4 will be using it for a while - https://twitter.com/chrissimons5/status/1457435392609865735

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@rscott Its emabarrasing really, when they are claiming its a technical issue but other devices display the content. I think we could be moaning about this all the way until Christmas and Sky/Channel 4 will still have a poor service for Glass' All4 offering.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSo I'm intrigued now as to whether stating Red Bee media are the cause of this (which I don't believe they arre presently) loss of functionality is to avoid paying discounts/refunds for a service that doesn't work.
What are a consumers rights when the media isn't available via Sky Glass yet it is via all other streaming platforms?
I believe this should really qualify for a refund of some sort when of it's much touted on demand services doesn't actually work on demand as was advertised.

No domestic compensation at all.
If you were a commercial customer, say a pub, and the football froze and stopped working with the place rammed with punters, you might have a reasonable claim.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThis sort of thing from Viewer Relations from Sky doesn't help at all:
I hate this culture is it's always someone elses problem. My issue is that this doesn't work on the Sky platform, it works everywhere else, so it has to be that Sky go off and investigate this, not for me to go and chase C4 about.
It's utterly ridiculous.
