F1 UHD vs PL UHD

Just curious.

Choosing the UHD feed on the F1 requires one button press - 'select'.

Choosing the UHD feed on the footie requires three - 'red button + down +select' and it takes longer to load.

Anyone know why this is? Not a particularly onerous impediment, but the F1 process is pleasingly slicker...

hi @FJRBL  I think it is just timing 

When I select either channel (after watching another) then I briefly get the pop up to select the UHD feed

After a few seconds(not sure how many), if I haven't selected UHD,  both require me to use the Red button to then select UHD 

BTW If I briefly change to another channel & then come back, I usually have to select the red button rather than getting the 'Select UHD' (i.e. need to be another channel for a little time to get the Select UHD)

I can always get UHD where available with pressing select twice in quick succession.

Didn't know that one - just worked on the football but not currently on the F1 but that could be due to be because the current HD feed is Chequered flag rather than the race or the fact that they are currently showing a 'filler' due to the race delay

I wll remember that tip for future  🙂
