The App doesn't appear to be very good unfortunately (unless others have had more success with it than me)

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Didn't you know Sky have two new slogans.
"Too big to care"
And
"The customer is always wrong"
Unfortunately these are shared by many large companies.

I'm afraid the Sky Never Miss service has been withdrawn.
We know this what we want to know is why it was withdrawn and why we had no notice?
I've contacted SKY but they are very dismissive and refuse to to answer these questions.
I was replying to a new poster, who obviously wasn't aware. I doubt Sky will make any public announcement on this.

Why were we not informed up front so we could at least make a copy of what we had set up?
What is the reasoning behind this? Why are you not telling us?
Err..you can ask Sky if you wish, but I doubt you'll get the answers you want. As I'm not Sky, I don't know why you think I can provide them.

This was not an attack on you, it's the lack of communication from SKY that is frustrating us mere mortals here.... We know the "Oracles" had prior warning that we didn't and I for one would like to understand why..

Re: Where is my Never Miss list?
Does anyone know who at Sky implemented this change and therefore who to complain to about it's withdrawal?

Start at the top... try emailing the CEO... i'm sure his email address is out there if you look for it.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Just gone to add some new shows to Never Miss only to find out its gone. Not at all happy, another sky customer who has been using for years, its one of the best function on the website, they seemed to keep moving it so it not visible on the menu and if you didn't know where it was you probably wouldn't find.
Like everyone else gutted its gone and will really miss this very helpful function. I can get an idea of some of what was in my list as I have a folder with Never Miss Emails, but that will only have the emails already received to advise a show is on and not anything in my list I had requested, but is still to be on tv.
Why do companies have to mess with functions that work perfectly well and replace with inferior and harder to use options?
I never look at the Top Picks area as when I have looked in the past I found it rubbish and it did not help me find anything of use so clearly is not a suitable replacement for Never Miss. I usually see stuff in Top Picks that I have already watch or record, I have yet to see a show there I was not aware of. I have better things to do with my time than constantly scour Top Picks looking for new stuff as there is no actual search facility like Never Miss had!!!
When my current contract is up it may well be time to say goodbye to Sky after over 18 years as like others have said they don't care about the customers and keep degrading the service and yet charging more for the privilege of a lesser service.
I use https://www.geektown.co.uk/uk-air-dates/ to get an idea of new shows and returning shows, but it only gives an approximate idea of when it is likely to air, no guarantee of the date, which was when Never Miss came in handy as I would add any shows I fancied and just wait for the emails to inform of the start date.
This is a bad move by Sky and clearly a lot of customers not happy with this and the fact they did secretly without even giving us the option to copy the information before removing the function shows how little they think of us customers. The fact the oracles say the reasoning is pathetic is even worse and the fact that Sky cannot even have the decency to forewarn or tell us it was going because the reason because it is pathetic.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Disgusted that Sky never miss has been dropped. Sky should be ashamed of themselves. If anyone is i nterested, geektown.co.uk is a very good site which lists all the programmes and gives loads of information. It doesn't send reminders unfortunately, but it is extremely useful

Drat. Apologies... I was replying to someone's query about where they find an app and didn't understand that I have to (somehow - there's nothing on the Smartphone version of the editing bar) specifically quote the comment I'm commenting upon 🤷♂️
My comment will appear unreferenced ... and now I find I can't delete comment.
Ho hum.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
The shame is that I just completed a survey from Sky and gave them fairly good scores....if I had checked my Never Miss beforehand would not have done so.....I am still going to write to customer services though....who knows I might even get a response....I am so sick of the excuse of the covid virus and staff working from home......if they are then they must still be able to deal with things.....

Re: Never Miss
Sky have removed this service. They are trying a new idea of suggesting programmes you may like based on your viewing habits. It's typical of companies to mess with a perfectly adequate system and to replace it with something worse. If you have any way of contacting a real person at Sky, I think that the more people the speak out about it we may get something done. I'm Peter
