@johnnoismyhero wrote:Yes, its the lack of communication that is the real problem. I don't agree with them taking down the serivce but can understand it in some ways. But to withdraw it with no warning at all is the poorest kind of customer service. When I said that in my complaint, they have gone suddenly quiet with no response. I also emailed the CEO, so we'll see if that helps too. I will continue to complain until I get an answer or apology.
I must admit you're not the only one that's emailed the CEO as well as raising a complaint through the normal route. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for a response though.

Re: Sky Nevermiss
This was rec'd from Sky....
"I can confirm that as of Monday the 18th of May, customers who had registered a show with 'never miss', will no longer receive emails advising them of an upcoming new series. However there are still many ways to make sure you don't miss your favourite shows via the sky q/sky+ box.
I hope this answers your query but if you still want to query further please reply with a preferred date and time for contact along with a preferred contact number and myself or a member of our team will be happy to answer your query in more detail.
Kind regards,
Sky help centre"
- So there you have it. It's gone and Sky DON'T CARE.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Ofcom look at the complaints received and create a league table, whilst I don't know if these will trigger enough or will be relevant. it is always worth using the words "formal complaint" and asking for a reference number.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Only just found out about this today, am appalled at SKY's behaviour, and will seriosly be looking at doing away with the service once I have finished watching everything that I have in my planner/schedule etc., their pricing is also abominable even if you only have the minimal channels. I had loads of programs set up in NM and now I am left not knowing what they were,

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
I have been using the Sky Never Miss to tell me when new series are about to start. Its use is invaluable as it tells me when new seasons of series I watch are about to start.
The suggested 'New Series' function is next to useless as you can only view 6 items at a time and have to scroll through them 3 at a time. You cannot search for upcoming series or films and only shows new shows on a very limited number of channels.
Why on earth have you removed a very useful web page with no replacement.
Removing Never Miss shows a total disregard to your customers and a complete lack of understaning of how your customers use youe service

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Yeah the lack of warning is what got me. You usually get some notification of a future cancellation. It would of been nice to just take a note of things on there before it got axed.
i have noticed that I watch less and less sky now. If there's another way to get channel 3, channel 4, MTV and TLC then I'm golden because that's all I use outside of Netflix and Disney plus!!
What kept me loyal to sky was their little features that I felt had great usability for the customer and just little touches like the never miss thing, a free movie every now and again and just the convenience of series link etc.
my whole service has gone rapidly downhill the last 2 years, it's really not worth the money anymore at all and that's even with all the reductions they have given me to stop me from leaving.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
Watched Phone Booth on Amazon last night which was cheaper than sky in the first instance, now normally i would have put this in the never miss service and either watched it live or recorded it. I will be definatley be signing up to prime as Amazon are a forward thinking company and probably will be a massive media player in the future. Thank goodness I got my Sky shares bought off me as well and made a nice profit. SKY you don't take services of your customers they will go elsewhere I wonder what the Advertisers think to all this.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
@Carrriein theory smart links should automatically record it for you if you have recorded the previous series but it is very hit and miss.
Assuming you have not changed your main box or completely reset it.

Re: Epgservices sky never miss
@Carrrie I use Digiguide desktop version, they do have a Online vresion as well. I can set reminders for TV series and find it very useful, it does have slight flaws in that sometimes when programming has been changed it doesn't always show correctly, but i don't find that too much of a problem.
