I have an engineer coming out to my home next friday and im unsure what they are setting up. I am getting a sky Q box and a new router for broadband but on my email it says i should connect my Q box to my TV as soon as i recieve it which will be tomorrow. Does the engineer do this or do i do it? Is the engineer just connecting my router for broadband?

@duck-and-keg your router should be what is sent out to you as the Sky engineer will bring the Q boxes and connect them up for you they will also install a satelitte dish if you need one and the relevant cabling
not sure what the e-mail is saying as the only piece of equipment that will be sent is your router

This can be plugged in before the engineer arrives. You should have an activation date (if sky broadband is new to you), or if you already have Sky broadband, just plug it in and it will start working.
The engineer will be bringing your Sky Q TV box and any Sky Q mini boxes if you have ordered them.
The engneer can install your broadband router on the day if you like, but it will be easier for the engineer if your broadband is all up and running.
