Does the Sky puck need sky glass on to work?

Does the Sky puck need sky glass on to work? Because i feel everytime the sky glass is turned off my sky puck seems to stop working

That's not the cause of the issue. They work independently to one another.

Nope. I really only use my puck when not in living room. 

 

They're totally independent devixes.

So do you have any idea what then is happening with the sky puck, and why the live tv feed stops when tthe sky glass goes off?

@Gary101  How is your puck connecting to the router?   Is it nearby, can you use ethernet?

Unfortunately not, but my WiFi is 89Mbps minimum show no problems streaming anything itis just the live tv.

@Gary101  Generally a reboot usually fixes most issues, have you powered the puck down for 1 minute then power back up (switch off at wall r unplug power cable once in standby).

That was one of the first things i tried  ut still nothing, plus getting really annoyed doing that, im thinking there are to many problems with these pucks and they need to do something about them.
