Good afternoon - can you please explain why Classic FM has been removed from the ROI platform?
Thank you in advance.

And they told me on the phone it wasnt Brexit. They're full of crap sky. Going to cancel my subscription with them

It's not sky's fault, but if you want to cancel because some free channels have gone, then crack on 👍🏻

As the article you linked to clearly stated, the issue is that the channels concerned chose not to obtain the licence required. Their choice, Nothing to do with Sky.

As Sky has now downgraded the music channels to ROI will there also be a reduction in subscriptions. I bought my package on the basis of channels available, removing them now - ag the drop of a hat- leaves me wondering how many channels I will have in a month or two..

@Galwegian1 Sky haven't done anything the individual channels removed themselves rather than pay for a licemse tp broadcast in ROI as they were free channels anyway they were never covered by your subscription

So my sky sub pays for what exactly? How many are paid for and how many are "free"?
Still nothing from Sky, they could at least tell us something out of courtesy

There are plenty of websites that list the Free To Air Channels and the Subscription channels, google is good for finding these, I can provide the exact list myself as I'm a UK customer and don't have full knowledge of the ROI channels

Would you not think the channels owners, not Sky, owe you that 'courtesy'? Why would you expect Sky to, when they didn't?
In fact, Sky have told you here.

I am a Sky Business customer in Roi, and my customers love Heart and Capital Gold. No point in being a customer if we can't access those radio stations.
