Change Account Name

Hi there, i'm trying to get the contact number to change the account name details on my Sky accountas  recently divorced,  the websiite says call us and then gives a 0333 number which is useless for Ireland 

very frustrating as the websites send me round in circles and i end up here.

Any help would be much appreciated😕

@ABIreland  on the website change the flag in bottom right hand corner to roi then go to the article with the number and then it should show the one for Ireland

@ABIreland note that while you'll be able to change your name Sky don't allow change of ownership. So if the account is in your ex's name, they'll need to cancel to enable you to sign up in your name.

Hi there @ABIreland  is it to just change the surname? If it is, I can help with that. 

If it's changing ownership, as mentioned above, you will need to cancel and open in a different name.

So i no longer live at the address and my ex wants the account in her name, what should i do?

You'll need to cancel,  so that she can sign up as a customer in her own name.

@ABIreland  If your account had sky q equipment attached to it then that equipment will need returning as it is linked to your account 

 

your ex will receive new equipment on sign up

Yep as @Mark39  says, you will need to cancel on this occasion.

thanks for the response the link sends me to a page which says i need to conatct Sky and it then gives me a UK 0333 number or the sky community link. i'm still looking for ther phone number for Ireland i've changed the flag to Ireland and still nothing

 

This is very frustrating Who in sky will take ownership of the request who do i contact or how do i make contact

After changing the flag try reloading the page in your browser as it should be an 0818 that you see.
