Challenge TV in 4:3 not 16:9

Gents, thanks ever so much for your assistance in making contact with someone at Challenge.

Somewhat OT -- what is your favourite Challenge programme?  Bullseye for me tops the list.  My favourite of all time is Gladiators!

I know the catchphrase was, you can´t beat a bit of bully! However, I love the chase, old and new episodes. I rated supermarket sweep with a blankety blank. Wheel of fortune kept me in a spin, until I had to ask for a p please Bob! Then I think I reached my tipping point.

Challenge has not been restored, still got half a picture, since march, l used to love watching challenge, UK gold and drama, don't bother now.

I may go to another provider, fed up with sky.

Very likely, I would think. There are some who prefer to see the picture fill the screen, even when it means it will be distorted to make it fit. There's no accounting for taste.....

Just checked and there is nothing wrong with the Challenge TV ratio. It is correctly showing black bars on the left and right of the screen during older programming.  This is how it is broadcast and is correct.

Would be interested to know if you find a different provided who is opting to distort the picture by stretching out the picture.

Gold and Drama are also correct.   Remeber 20+ years ago this programmes were made for the pre-widescreen era.
