My 65" set is not poor quality nor does it suffer from DSE - one of the first things I looked for. Each to their own.

Is there some text missing after "The pucks are also…"?
And what is DSE please? Is it the same as pixel smearing?

Sorry, the pucks are also pretty useless. I have 512MBPS SKY ULTRAFAST PLUS and I could barely get 720 resolution working. I'm sure with time this will be ironed out with software fixes, but I wasn't willing to wait. The negatives outweigh the positives. DSE is dirty screen effect. You only really see it with football on the green grass... Like a shadow which is particularly nasty when camera is panning...

The Sky Stream Pucks are rather buggy and need rebooting often and in some case factory resetting to get everything working

I've just cancelled my Glass subscription just now and I can honestly say the experience was surprisingly simple.
Although I was passed through 3 different departments the guy that finally cancelled Glass and moved me back to Q (David I think he was called) made the switch effortless. He asked me for some honest feedback and then did all the admin required.
For anyone else worried about a loss of service there shouldn't be any. He said Glass can't officially end until the TV is collected but he started Q straight away. He said until Glass is taken away I may be billed for two products for next week but made sure my new Q contract reflected this will added discounts.
For those also worrying about legacy discounts...don't! My new 18 month contract is cheaper than what I had prior to getting Glass.
If Sky get their act together I'll take a look at Glass again in the future.

Yes I have cancelled my Sky Glass, the interface is a disappointment, technology was outdated compared to present TV's.
Sky Q has much better interface.
Need built in recording function such as an 1Tb SSD drive in TV.
Switching back to Sky Q was a nightmare, got it done in the end.
I recommend don't go for Sky Glass until Sky produce a better quality product, maybe something better in 2022.
This Sky Glass is a disaster by Sky!

Hi,as I'm writing this panther are 3 drops away from delivery however I will not be accepting delivery emailed them yesterday to cancel delivery after calling sky but no response. I was looking forward to getting glass but I didn't really look close enough into how it actually works, the lack of recording ability is the main problem, I don't need to spend over 1k for sky to send me to catch up services, so if you try to start viewing say 10 minutes into a programme it won't yet be on the catch up service.

My understanding is that when you visit a TV channel mid-way through a programme, it will ask if you want to watch from the start.

I cancelled over two weeks ago prior to delivery and I'm still waiting for a refund for the pucks. My Sky app also shows that I'm still a Sky Glass customer too. Sky appear to have some real IT issues in reverting peoples accounts back to Sky Q. To add further insult I was charged a £10 admin fee for renewing my package today to the new Ultimate Sky package, which the advisor failed to mention on the call. I'm seriously considering leaving Sky after this debacle.

Sky glass rollout is a disaster, to many issues, also tv technology used not perfect.
Needs a rethink.

@njbwviking Aside from any of the other issues driving Sky in the Glass direction i suspect that not having an SSD storage device in the TV will help simplify their digital rights management (DRM) requirements, another cost saver.

You're not on your own, I did the same and am waiting for my £874 back. Tomorrow I suspect will be a quick online chargeback request with the bank.

You can call SKY to get the admin charge deducted from future bills. I'm also still waiting on refunds, but they said it would be two weeks after they receive the goods back. Since there are quite a few people returning, I'm thinking to add another two weeks onto that estimate 😞
