Can you get a sky q mini box with a one of payment ?

Someone told me that they paid a one off 50£ and got a mini box from sky .

Is he correct ?

hi @wag3369 there is an admin fee for mini boxes  which is what is paid as a one off

you do not buy them as they remain SKY's property

To use them you must have the multiscreen subscription which is an ongoing charge but the subscription covers all boxes

Often the admin fee for the first box may be waived but I don't think that is always the case
