Can't make outgoing calls

Hi everyone

 

I tried to make a phone call from the landline this morning and something is wrong.

 

When I picked up the receiver there was a dial tone, then I dialled the number which I could hear the beeps for that, but the dial tone was still in the background whilst I was doing this but then nothing else happens.

 

The voice light is on the router still.

 

I did try logging I to my sky account and typing my landline number in incase of any known errors, but it said there was none.

 

I'm at work today but so any suggestions I will try this evening.

Hi @katymart we can alert Sky to the problem you're having and ask them to chat online with you, but I suspect you'll need to be at home to do some diagnostic checks with them, for example, restarting your Hub.

 

It might be best for you to try the checks here first, then either give Sky a ring to report it, or post back and someone will be able to request an online chat with Sky for you.
