New phone handset, seems to go to sky voicemail much quicker now, missing lots of calls.
I installed a new Panasonic KX-TGJ323EB Trio handset in my home last month, and ever since I've been missing about 20% of calls.
It just doesn't give us enough time to pick up now. With my old handset I'd estimate it gave us around 15 seconds of ring time, but now it's more like 10 seconds.
In the handset's voicemail settings it is set to the highest number of rings, 9, before starting voicemail.
But the voicemail setting is turned off so presumably this has no effect, when I try ringing my homephone it goes to Sky's Voicemail after 8 rings (ie, 8 boop-boops over the wire).
I've seen other people complaining about this here and that there's no way to change the number of rings with Sky's voicemail service.
Evenso I just want to check with the community to see if there are any helpful suggestions that might improve the ring duration.

@SandraWilsonIf you have Sky voicemail then you can turn off that service and use your own. Just give Sky a call on 150 and with that being a paid service this should be taken off your account.
If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.
