Can't get Sky Yahoo emails on Windows 10 Mail

I can’t even access my mail through sky.com

message says You don’t have permission to access “http:/skyid.sky.com/AK_PM_VPATH0/“

I constantly have a notification telling me that my Sky account settings are out of date

When I try to set up a new account I get ERROR CODE 0x80004005

@shanklyboy , Have you been trying to access your Sky email account regularly or did a long period of time go by without access. It's possible that the email address has been deleted by Sky. Sounds like you need to give them a call to check.

That error message is usually displayed when there's an issue with your public IP address. It's usually resolved automatically within 48-72  hours. Otherwise give Sky a ring.

I took your advice and rang Sky and resolved the issue.

My McAfee VPN was causing the problem. Once switched off it allowed me to access my Sky  mail account.

Glad you've got it fixed @shanklyboy. Yes, from experience I know VPNs can cause this, presumably because the assigned server has an IP address Sky aren't expecting. If McAfee gives you the option, a different UK-based server might be ok.

I can never access Sky via Nord VPN , even with a U.K. I.P. address.

@jayach off topic, but I use Nord's OpenVPN GUI rather than the Nord app, and that works fine. The app was a pain to use with Sky.
