Can't get Sky Yahoo emails on Windows 10 Mail

You won't be able to get Outlook for Windows working.

Outlook for Windows (any version) doesn't work with Sky email at present.

Thank you for your help, I have accessed via mail app now.  May be time to move on from Sky, was thinking about it anyway, this might be the final nail!

Sky have just restored the password generator, so you will once again be able to use Outlook.

Generate 16 character password using https://www.sky.com/sky-yahoo-mail/manage-apps?client=email 

Keep the generator page open until you have replaced your usual password with the 16 char one and successfully received and sent email.

I would use the generator whilst it's available, as Sky may withdraw it again.

I am using Windows 10 Mail and have deleted the old setup and installed using Yahoo and agreed to the request. When I click done all my emails come in OK however after that Anything I do as in send, read or delete only works on Windows Mail. the sent message goes into hyper space as does the deleted messages, nothing show in either the sent or deleted options. I tried the delete so I could reinstall this morning and Mail just hung, Closing Mail and opening still had the email sddress but could'nt open it olny removed the rebooting the PC.

Have just tried deleting again with the same results. HELP

If you want a copy of any sent message to appear in the Sent folder then you need to select this option via the Tools option, it should say something like "Save a copy of sent mail in Sent folder".

T he email does not get to the person that I sent it to hense hyper space.

As I was typing this 2 Emails came in so something has changed , Both were of no inportance and were deleted but did not show in the delete box. and using the Sky/Yahoo  site both Emails are still there and unread.

@Wee+Dave ,  Windows 10 mail must have got in a muddle. You could try deleting the account, then rebooting PC before adding email account back in again. Be sure to select Yahoo from the list of providers and use your usual password when prompted.

Done that twice (a lot more before I found that Yahoo had to be selected) with the same usless reults.
