Can’t get DAZN app on sky q

Hi, I've recently purchased DAZN and have been informed that the app should appear in the apps section of my sky q. 3 colleagues have this. I have updated the software and rebooted numerous times and updated the apps (settings/ 0.0.1) and rebooted but still not working. 
Ive been told to ring sky to add?! But just can't get through. 
I don't want to go down the line of buying a Firestick as I'm already giving sky £90 a month. 
any suggestions? 
could it do with the smart TVs I have, maybe not compatible? I have a Sony Bravia 4K ultra hd.

The DAZN app isn't on Sky. You've been misinformed. None of your colleagues have it on Sky. Try downloading it on your Smart TV instead.

Afraid you cannot Add any Apps to Sky Q boxes.

All Q Apps are added by Sky and afraid DAZN isn't among them

I had the same problem. Dazn say the app is suppose to be on sky.

I called sky and they said the dazn app is due to reach sky customers soon, but as dazn have only been active in the uk a few months it takes a while to be beamed out to every. 

She made sure i had the up to date software download that i had to do myself through the settings.......you have to have the number '150' up to date software number to be able to recieve the app when it gets beamed out. 

She said everyone has a slightly diferent box so it takes abit of time to go out to everyone. Doesnt happen all of a sudden, goes to this block of boxes, then another block of boxes etc.

Hope that makes sense.

Yes, their page is also clear it's referring to Sky Q Italy.

Nothing is beamed out. If they've got the DAZN app ready within the Q150 software - which is now available to everyone - it will just be switched on on a certain date.

While the app code may well be on the box, availability of the app for actual use is typically negotiated between Sky and the app owner for both technical support training by Sky for its staff and a coordinated press launch / advertising promotion.  Fretting about it won't make it appears any sooner.

All this said, it will be encouraging news for DAZN subscribers that it's coming to Sky Q in the UK.

However, this is all on the basis that the person you spoke to actually knew anything and wasn't just making it up....

Someone who knows how could probably do that trick of querying the box IP address for the plain text configuration file which lists app status, amongst other things.

The 1st person i spoke to didnt have a clue. Called back 10 minutes later and spoke to a lady who knew her stuff.ndefinately filled me with confidence in knowing we will be getting the DAZN apo at some point soon aslong as ypu have your software up to date.

There is no DAZN on Sky UK even on the latest firmware. There are some apps which aren't yet live including CNN and Peloton, but DAZN isn't one of them.

I wonder how many people on here (just like me) are looking for the DAZN app just because of the new Eddie Hearn and Matchroom contract.

Also, I couldn't find the app on my SkyQ box but had no problem at all searching for and getting it through my Xbox One console in the living room.

Don't know about any other consoles but it should the same.

There are no plans for this app to appear on Sky Q in the UK. As per their website this is only available in Italy.
