Can't delete connected apps

Appears my account was hacked and I have multiple connected apps which I can't delete, hitting remove does nothing.

How to resolve?

TIA

@romfordian  I doubt that your account has been hacked, unless your password was given out or you allowed another person to access it.

Also which account are you referring to?  You've posted on the email section, so is it your Sky Yahoo email account that your referring to?

Any connected devices can only connected if they have your account user details, are you sure these are just not older devices you had previously?

Re: Can't delete connected apps

Account is Sky email.

I keep seeing undelivered emails in sent items to random accounts, something is attempting to mail from my account, failing but locking my account.

The connected apps are reporting locations such as Russia, Ecuador, Colombia etc.

Definitely not me!

Annoying the remove option does nothing.

@romfordian Have you tried to change your password?  Without the correct password no one should be abe to send any emails or connect to your account.  I would also run a virus scan on your device using malwarebytes which you can download for a free trial period.  If is quite possible your device has downloaded a virus.

Re: Can't delete connected apps

Changed password many times, ran umpteen scans.

Nothing found, only clue is these pesky connections.

Posted screenshot above didn't work, I'll try to capture one and post.

@romfordian  Images need to be released by a forum Mod so you won't need to repost.

@romfordian  Changing your passwords should stop whoever is connected  have you tried the help pages at Sky Yahoo, this link provides steps to secure your account Recognize a hacked Sky Yahoo Mail account | New Mail for Desktop Help - SLN2090

Re: Can't delete connected apps

Changing password doesn't work.

These connected apps must bypass it.

@romfordian  Have you followed the steps provided in the link I posted above?  The link explains how to delete app passwords you don't recognised.

@romfordian  Its under If you account has been compromised, I presume you are scrolling down the page to see all the content?  Other than that there isn't really much the fporum can do as the help page link has been provided, perhaps you should search the issue within Sky Yahoo email help pages? As that is the best place to find the support you need

Changing password won't stop authorised apps from connecting because they are using using OAuth or generated passwords.

@romfordian

If you go to here: https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details and scroll down to Sky Yahoo Mail access, you should be able to select Manage Passwords and remove their access from there.
