Can I watch 6 Sky Go devices simultaneously but only 2 on Sky Q?

The website is confusing.

Concurrent streaming

  • New Sky Go customers who joined after March 26 2019 can stream on one device at a time.
  • Sky Go customers who joined before March 26 2019 can still view on two devices at a time.
  • Sky Go Extra customers can stream on two devices at a time, with Multiscreen increasing it to four.

But this is on which device, Sky+ or Sky Q?

I have not checked but I assumed you could watch all registered 6 (or 8 ) Sky Go devices at the same time. Was I wrong to think this?

I am about to have a Sky Q engineer install it on Tuesday and after calling Sky 3 times I am still unsure as I have not tested how many Sky Go devices can stream at the same time.

Any help would be welcome.

Sky Q and Sky+ boxes are not themselves Sky Go clients, and the simultaneous usage limit of Sky Q main and Mini boxes is not related to Sky Go use.  Watching output from satellite television boxes does not affect the number of Go client devices that can be active: on Q this is set to a maximum of any two Mini boxes and any two Go instances.

The maximum number of devices you can use Sky Go on at the same time is four and for this you need Sky Go Extra and Multiscreen on your package and this applies to both Sky+ and Sky Q customers. You can register at most 6 devices.
