So basically 2 minis and main box is what you can watch if you have the 2tb box.

This is the small print from the bottom of the "get an additional mini-box" page...

One off costs apply to view on 2 or more additional TVs. Connect up to 4 Sky Q Mini boxes and watch on two TVs at the same time with a 1TB box, or three TVs at the same time with a 2TB box. All Sky Q Mini boxes are loaned to you by Sky.

Which doesen't stipulate that one of the 3 tv's in my case includes the main box as it states "additional TV's"....which is why I purchased a 3 box as when the 3rd box was going to be in use the main Q box will be off,  very poor communication, not like sky at all...🤔

Yes its always in the Small Print, which is totally unaccepable in my opinion, whe the sky web site says this:

Sky Q Mini Boxes

Watch around the house on up to 4 extra TV screens

What would you think most people would take that to mean?

@Ianrover that you can watch 4 extra screens which you can  it doesn't say on 4 extra TV's.

You can watch the main box 2 mini boxes connected obviously to TV's and on either 2 phones or  2 tablets or a mix of them

I actually think this is shocking, when the skyq works its great, nice wireless mini box system! But and a big but, big family with 4mini boxes and 1 main, almost everyone has a tv in their room, at least 3 mini boxes working would be ideal, i mean **bleep** seriously only 2 rooms at an evening if people go to bed can watch tv via mini's!? Who thought that would work. 🤦🏻‍♂️

But, nowhere does it say simultaneously. The limit has always been the same since Sky Q was launched.

Re: Can I watch 3 Mini Boxes at the same time if the Main Box (2TB) is off?

I knew from the start it was 2 mini's and main box but we still we all like a mini in each bedroom, just sad in this modern era my son or mum and dad can not watch their mini box when they go to bed, surely by now this system should be more adavnaced or have a better skyq system to allow this considering how much familys pay monthyly for this tv service/multiroom.

@James2522

I couldn't agree more James, and that is exactly what folk would want. That's why the Sky web site lures them in. It's badly worded on purpose regardless of what others say.

My question is who the heck watches TV in bed anyway. Bed equals sleep.
