sky q rubbish

Hi just been ugraded from sky hd + to sk q.

sky q box worse then the hd box constant sound not working having to reboot box

picture keeps stuttering have reboot box .

tried all sugestions on here and sky help.

overall box is utter rubish

Hi @taxiclive Have you tried updating the software on your TV, and rebooting it?
You may be having issues with your TV compatibility, how old is your TV?

@taxiclive Try a different 4K high speed HDMI cable, from the Sky box to the TV!

Sky Q works in millions of homes. People only come to forums when things don't work, hence it looks like a disproportionate amount of complaints.

 

Just call Sky and get them back to sort it. You're paying for it, so it's their job to get it working.

There are a lot of issues on the v3 2tb box with intermittent sound and picture drop outs, if you go down the Sky Q threads. If that's the issue in your case, then I don't know whether there's a cure... Certainly the new software Q150 was meant to help a couple of things, but Q160 in the coming months is also going to tackle some issues.
