Is there anyone that can recommend a mobile 4G Wifi router (unlocked) that will work with SkyQ?
We are moving to a lodge on a park where the broadband internet provided is abysmal. I have the full Sky package inc BT Sports, Netflix and also subscribe to Amazon Prime.
Is there a device out there that will provide a good enough download speed given that the area we are in has a good 4G coverage both inside and out according to all the test sites?

Hey I've been looking in to this as I can only get really slow broadband where I live. I was looking at the three mobile home broadband. Depending on your postcode they do 4g and 5g. Prices are good to

@94 Yes, I think I have looked at all the mifi devices and the Huawei ones that three use look good along with the TP-Link Archer MR400.
The download speeds are dictated by which network you are using and at present EE achieve the fastest downloads for mobile Wifi at around 36Mbps. Their unlimited data EE multi sim is currently £37 per month on a 24 month plan. Vodafone are next 22.4, Three 22.2 and O2 18.2 Mpbs.
Thanks for your input

Think it depends where you live atm with three. Since its takeover of relish broadband there offer is pretty confusing In my postcode area I only get offerd either the 5g hub or 4g hub In different areas different routers and speeds are offered. The 5g that's in my area is 100mbps at £24 for 24 months unlimited data.

@94 Yes you're correct it does indeed depend on where you live for coverage.
I am specifically referring to 4G mobile Wifi speeds as I can't get 5G in our area at present.

Interesting because I'm hoping a house purchase to a very rural area of Derbyshire transpires in the new year. Does Sky work with these options. IIRC I've read on here some time ago that Sky wasn't compatible with this type of BB.

@Morgan+McDonnell I did come across some posts that stated Sky was incompatable but I believe it was 3G, with the advent of 4G I have read other posts that Sky is fine as long as 4G is good in your area.

Cheers for that @provman1 I shall keep that in mind. I'm with Sky at the moment but if they can't provide a fast enough service at the new address I will need to look at alternatives.

I use a TP lInk router with EE. do not get a huwaei router as these have a problem with skyQ.

@peeded+off That's strange as I have had no issues with SkyQ with the Huawei unit.
When the wife is watching something on the main tv I often log on to SkyGo to watch the football and it's not very often the signal drops out.
Most days I get around 27 Mbps but this can drop to around 18 Mbps in the evening.

So, having now moved and been living with 4G BB since mid February I can say that I'm more than happy. I use a TP-Link Archer and, because they are the strongest signal where I live, Vodafone 4G. Works fine with SkyQ. Never had an issue and I'm very pleased. Have since added in a TP-Link Deco M4 Mesh system which provides consistently good and stable wifi all around the house. I was with Sky FTTC before moving but Sky cannot supply here. BT were the only ones availabe but they themselves admitted they'd be slow.
Don't let anybody tell you that SkyQ and 4G mobile BB is incompatible.

@Anonymous+McDonnell - is your system still ok and if so which mobile provider do you use.
