Back order iPad 2021

Hi, I ordered an iPad over 2 weeks ago. I've not heard anything and all it says that it's on back order, what does this mean?

There a few posts on the forum about back orders.  It means Sky are waiting for stock from Apple.  No one here can tell you when it will be delivered.

I get that, okay cool 😊 hopefully won't have to wait for long.

Back order means there is no stock currently available that can be allocated to your order, you are just one of many in the situation across all networks with devices from Apple. This is due to stock shortages as Apple can't keep up with the demand plus covid, hgv driver shortages and delays to freight at the ports around the country so at present keeping an eye on your order tracking page is all that you can do as it will update when stock does become available:
