Re: BT Sports Box Office

Appreciate the horse may have bolted and I hope people were able to record or catch one of the repeats but for future issues, it's best to contact BT who've agreed to provide additional support for these events if necessary.

Thanks,

Re: BT Sports Box Office

Ive paid for the Fury Wilder fight on Sat nite via BT Box office as Sky would not let me pay via my sky q box (Only if I was in Ireland) but now just found out that I cannot record it. Can I record it once it starts at midnight or not at all? If thats the case I need a refund from BT and find out why I cannot order from my sky Box?

Do you friends have Sky or BT TV?

@Rhonny  just a quick one. Tried to extend my ee 3 month bt sport trial and the agent in chat told me this offer ended in August. Have you found the same?

Shame, it was a Good little freebie....

To record the fight it always has to be ordered via the Sky box @Elaine+Ferris , I have no idea why that is but this has always been the case so you will need to contact BT about this.

Re: BT Sports Box Office

@Doc5907

No, I still have it. I was given BT Sport with Large Screen Access as a free add-on. So it's a fixed benefit until such times as, I'd imagine, BT Sport is sold and is no longer part of the EE family.

I also selected BT Ultimate as the Smart add-on in my EE tariff. So I get BT Sport on large screen in HDR for free each month.

Re: BT Sports Box Office

Had this same issue where i don't have BT sport but have ordered BT box office events before but SkyQ on this occasion was not letting me order via the SkyQ box. I did not want to order via the website as you can't record if you do.

Rang BT and they had all my details and confirmed that either BT or Sky randomly un-associate the accounts. The rep realigned the accounts and 10mins later I was able to purchase the Box office event via SkyQ and record it, so I don't have to watch live.

Re: BT Sports Box Office

It's 22.20 on 9/10/21.  I've ordered fury v wilder on BT Sports box office via Sky Q box (channel 490), scheduled to record at midnight but I've just noticed its hd.

Pretty sure I can't watch hd on my LG tv?  Will I be offered SD version when the program starts?  If not, think I need to cancel the rental on Sky Q and order online, is that correct?

Appreciate any help/guidance.

Best Regards, R

You should be able to view the HD channel via your TV.

Re: BT Sports Box Office

Did you ever resolve this issue as I had the same problem and I was on to bt from 12am till 2am. I literally got no where they just kept passing the blame and making excuses, they even said that because I didn't buy it 5 hours before was the reason I could not record, how stupid!! I paid £25 and fell asleep so was unable to watch. So any info would be great for future reference.

thanks

Re: BT Sports Box Office

Hi, I've just been reading these threads about BT sport box office as I'm wanting to purchase the Fury - Whyte fight tonight, but I need to be able to watch it on one of my mini boxes, but I'm reading that it's not possible, but I don't know why. However, I'd you purchase with the sky remote and are able to record the surely that recording can be played from any box?

Thanks.

Re: BT Sports Box Office

It tells me on my box when I try to purchase the event with my remote that it will record automatically,  but I am being told that i will not be able to view it on my mini boxes, just on the main box. But surely if it can be recorded then the recording can be played on a mini box.

Afraid not @Jonnyp672   Unless you have BT's Monthly second box subscription.

See FAQ's

https://www.bt.com/sport/box-office/faqs

The event will only show on the Sky box you order it to. You’ll need to buy it on each Sky box individually if you want it in multiple rooms
