BT Sport

We are paying £27 a month for BT Sport. We are now getting a message to tell us we need to upgrade in order to watch it. I've checked my account and the £27 a month is still on my bill and on my next bill. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi @Lizzie+Gee

Do you pay BT direct  & trying to watch on a mini ?

If you pay for BT Sport via BT they charge extra for watching on a mini.

(If you pay via SKY you can watch on either box without additinal charge)

Re: BT Sport

No we pay through our Sky account and still are. We have been able to watch Bt Sport via Sky ever since we set it up 2 years ago...but all of a sudden it's telling us to upgrade even though we are still paying Sky for it

In which case,  all I can suggest is you try a power down restart of both your main box  & mini

Use the remote to place it into standby mode

Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)

 Wait at least 30s

Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

Once the main box is restarted do the same power down on the mini box.

If that doesn't cure it then try re-freshing the card :

Main Menu -> Settings -> System Info  scroll across to the viewing card & click on 'setup'

Then click on the button (the whole message) which ends 'Use this option to trigger a callback'

This isn't a call back as such but initiates a refresh of the viewing card - I am afraid I have no idea how long this takes
