Apple tv - do you really want us to have this trial!!!!

After a very frustrating weekend of trying to sign up for my free 3 month apple tv trial and having many conversations with sky im still left wondering if ill ever get to view the many delights that apple tv has to offer.  sky customer services cant help and just directed me to the team at apple. When i phoned up apple thier custeomer services member said and i quote " could you tell me what sky is? " with that i put the phone down. you need to sign up to apple tv and when they send you a verification code to your email you either :  a) dont recieve the email or b) the code they do send you doesnt work. 

If this is a problem sky are having then they need to get apple to sort their tech out as its doesnt instill me with the confidence to go with apple tv if this is the shape of things to come.

Have you sorted it out am having the same problem they don't send me the code to my email and the qr code on tv doesn't work but I don't know how to sort it out.

No ive been trying all day today too and the issue still hasnt been sorted. 🙄😤😡

I am the same and others have the same problem but who can sort it out it really should be sky as they are offering the deal.

I spoke to Sky apps team and they said there is nothing they can do as its a problem with apple's system. i said that my contract is with sky not with apple and its an offer directed through sky's customers but they didnt seem to be interested in that aguement.

Someone just helped me on another page they said clear your cookies cache on you my sky app and set up the account again and it should go through to putting your bank details in I had to also go to apple tv on the Internet and verify my account and then it was able to work through my tv hope that helps.

I've tried the above bit still can't get the free trial. Annoying!
