@fizzdisco Got an Apple TV, so we will stick with that, especially as we have a lot of iTunes films.

@fizzdisco  That is true, I have one already, I'm just looking to get all  media in one place so I don't need third party devices so would be good to get the same output.

@Anonymous Apologies, I thought the icon to the left of the 4K said Atmos.  Fingers crossed though.

Still no sign. I would wish to appear rude to suggest what's already been said won't happen but is it common for Sky to push apps in the afternoon? Who has said this is a definite for today @Dazzasky

I can confirm @F18CAL that it's been confirmed by sky, and yes sky could push the app out anytime up until midnight if they wished.

m Have a some patience.

@F18CAL the last Glass update was released in later afternoon so it can happen but again expected updates can and do slip. My understanding is it should happen today but still requires final sign off.

According to a user on the the discussion tab for the article it will just been content only no access to library/purchases, according to a test who already has the app.

That's what I was expecting, and how the app works on my Xbox/PlayStation, so am happy with that 👍

I've requested that Sky makes that clear in their Help pages.  Unfortunately it appears that there are two distinct versions of 'Apple TV' software and the one which does permit access to that content isn't the one that is coming to Sky platforms.  Weirdly, it's the '+' version which is more limited: that's the branding of the streaming TV service rather than the TV app which is somewhat older.
