According to a user on the the discussion tab for the article it will just been content only no access to library/purchases, according to a test who already has the app.

I've requested that Sky makes that clear in their Help pages.  Unfortunately it appears that there are two distinct versions of 'Apple TV' software and the one which does permit access to that content isn't the one that is coming to Sky platforms.  Weirdly, it's the '+' version which is more limited: that's the branding of the streaming TV service rather than the TV app which is somewhat older.

Correct. The UI is the same for both the 'Apple TV' and 'Apple TV+' apps, the only differences are the 'Apple TV' app has a Library option along the top which gives access to your iTunes purchases.

You also have Watch Now and Store options, so you can add channels such as BFI Player, Mubi and Starzplay to your Apple subscription, as well as purchase movies/shows from the iTunes store.

It's a very good, well featured app. Shame it's not the one coming to Q & Glass...

@Anonymous

Apps are embedded, so can't be removed.

That screen shot is of the parental controls, which can be found at: Home > Settings > Parental > Pin for Apps.

If I’ve helped today, give me a like.

Sky Stream and whole home.

At @F18CAL As already posted, we were told by Sky that it was coming today. We weren't told a time though.

Re: Apple TV Due Today 14/12/21

I hope it's not a crushing disappointment for everyone when it does eventually arrive!

There are some great shows on there and a few good movies. I can heartily recommend 'For All Mankind', 'The Morning Show', 'Physical', 'Mr Corman' and 'Schmigadoon.'

'Finch' is a very good recent Tom Hanks movie too.
