Appearance TV guide change

the TV guide on my Sky Q box had suddenly changed.  There is now a dark blue "square" over lighter blue background . Is this something new from Sky or have we pushed some sort of settings button and can we remove it. It is very distracting.

hi @B+Murphy the dark blue area highlights the currently selected programme  so that you know which programme you might choose to record etc (by using the R button)

(I think it has always worked that way - but perhaps not quite as obvious or I may be remembereing incorrectly)

@B+Murphy , looks like a bug. Try a power-off reset.

It's not a bug and there's no problem here.  The dark background just shows the currently selected programme/channel/selection.

If the screen was mainly black before, that would be an accessability option.

Really?  I don't have that darker blue square in the background covering about 70% of the screen.

Thank you everyone for all your help. I have reset and it has gone.....so appears it was a gremlin.  Thought I was going a bit mad as it just suddenly appeared. All sorted. Happy.
