@Ldnsth

I've just got the Stream puck.

Does seem to be lots of random issues people are having.

They were brilliant though this morning and quickly sorted out sending a new Puck (let's see how long DPD take to deliver it!)

Re: Another new Firmware QS013.502

Quick update, got the replacement puck yesterday morning (less than 24 hours after I called them so very impressed on that) but still the same issues for me with no Dolby Vision or Atmos on Apple TV app. Did all the usual resetting puck and refreshing apps again. Is working fine I. The other apps. New puck still on the 007 firmware (again when I spoke to the help desk on Sunday they thought we should be on 009 and were unaware that people were getting rolled back to 007). Think gonna live with it for now and see what happens over next few months as am really enjoying the interface and playlist (and yep lots of bugs with it but let's see what Sky do about that over next few months). Oh and the new remote was completely dead - luckily the delivery guy told me to keep the old one and that does work!

At least Sky are proactive in sorting issues, they were excellent with my issues and can't be faulted.

The equipment I do wish was more advanced by now after a year but hopefully more bugs will be squashed and new features issued soon.

I too like the set up and for me would be almost complete with the CW rail having a remove option and improved search facility.

I still use Apple for Netflix, Prime etc but for the "domestic" media the stream box can't be beaten on picture quality.

@Anonymous

Yep agreed they've been very responsive with trying to fix things this time.

Yeah, I've sort of abandoned the CW rail for now as a bit too inconsistent. I'm finding it easier to use the playlist page which I do love.
Im happy with quality on the Netflix, Amazon and Disney apps (maybe a little slow to kick in but not seeing a difference in quality with the native TV apps - I know people are talking about sky not matching frame rates but to my untrained eye I can't tell the difference and worth it to me for the interface on the puck).

Just need them to pull their finger out with the Apple app (they do seem to be plugging it hard on their homepage so hopefully they'll sort out the issues with it soon!)

Just realised existing Apple TV customers can redeem the 6 months free. Result!! That kind of makes up for the app not working!

I noticed that overnight I have moved from QS013.502 to 503 does anyone know what the difference is? I imagine it is just a small tweak.

My Sky Glass was updated QS013.502.00P to QS013.503.00P on Friday December 16th

Not noticed any difference yet that stands out

Might be something new that 's in 503 but not activated yet or just a minor  tweak

Re: Another new Firmware QS013.502

Exactly the same with me. My puck is Q13.007 although it is advertised on website it should be Q13.009

Re: Another new Firmware QS013.502

Yeah I saw that on the website as well @Yorkiecherry  but all three of my pucks are stuck firmly on Q13.007 probably be next year before it's updated now

When I called the help desk on Sunday, they thought everyone should be on 009. They tried to walk me through an update over the phone but that locked the puck so they ended up sending me another one out yesterday (which also still has 007). Definitely seems to be lots of confusion at their end about which version we should have.

Re: Another new Firmware QS013.502

Been a crazy week all round for most.

Me, no change, got 13.502 on SkyGlass and 007 on puck.

Really pleased about the 6 x months free of Apple+ so I'm currently in Xmas forgiving mood. 😉😆

Let's see what the New Year brings 🤞

I'm happy with most of the improvements made since I switched in May.

@Cleveleysbob

I'm with you regarding the improvements.  They are a good step in the right direction so lets hope this continues in the new year.

If I had been able to get a satellite dish I would have happily gone back to Sky Q when I was on QS011. Now I would, in all probability, remain with Glass.  It is certainly the future of TV watching and will be great when they sort out some of the remaining issues.

@Fothergill1  also updated to 503 two nights ago. Haven't noticed anything new but I've lost subtitles and the sound is wierd. Doesn't matter what setting I use, I can't hear the sound like I used to and losing the subtitles compounds the issue.

Re: Another new Firmware QS013.502

I've just been upgraded to 503.

Not noticed any new features particularly although the voice control on the hand set offers lots more variation, including rewinding or ff a specific length of time, which is neat.

2 issues though. IPlayer UHD is shaky, struggles to maintain picture and sound is out of sinc. Tried watching "His dark Materials", bordering on unwatchable.

When I'm watching a programme (almost any) if I hit centre button for info, or ff or rewind, although all the usual programme info is there and correct, the programme title is almost always an ITV show, mostly Emmerdale. Imagine watching the Sopranos and being told it's Emmerdale when you pause?

Bonkers. 😂🤣

I suppose I'll have to live with this until the New Year. All the best everyone.
