All apps have lost passwords overnight

Just tried to access Netflix, you tube and Disney + as normal only to find that all show now as unregistered.  Tried to log back in to Netflix using correct user name and password (that I use and can still use on my iPad access) and it says it cannot match.  Is there a wider issue here as all the apps I use normally and automatically log on to via sky Q have all disappeared. Even the search history on you tube has gone.  Any ideas?  Even tried the 'switch it off and on again' but no joy. I am now having to watch BBC yuck!

Exactly the same here.  Had to go though and re-enter everything.

Anyone know the reason?

Re: All apps have lost passwords overnight

I tried to log back to Netflix but it doesn't work which is annoying, Netflix on iPad is working fine so last thing I want to do is to change password of Netflix app and mess that up as well.

it has the feeling of an overnight update to sky Q that has messed up something to me.

You could try refreshing your Apps as follows:

  1. Press Home on your Sky Q remote, then highlight Settings (BUT DON'T PRESS)
  2. Press 0,0,1 and Select to access the Installer menu.
  3. Select Apps then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
  4. Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing.

Same here lost disney+, prime, youtube and iplayer, somebody made a right hash of an update at Sky _ not good enough.

Same thing here. All passwords lost. Surely Sky must be aware of this and do something about it or am I being unduly optimistic 😬

Based on Sky's track record for fixing things quickly, I wouldn't hold your breath... 😁

Re: All apps have lost passwords overnight

Managed to get my Disney+ set up again as I could remember the password.  Amazon prime I had to redo using the at code on the set up screen.  Still no joy with Netflix, just won't accept my email and password combo that works fine on Netflix app on iPad.  Oh and my you tube browsing history and favourites, thanks those have gone as well.  Really glad I pay them £120 a month!  Good job Sky
