i already did the power down reset you suggested to others twice this morning but no success.

I guess it is phone sky time then.

I am very clear these were recordings and not made on HD channels. They were not downloads either. Oh dear

@Madeleine149  You could try to refresh your viewing card. Goto home, settings system info, scroll across to viewing card number and across to setup, press twice. It says trigger a callback but there's no call, its refreshing the card.

Failing that, its probably time to call sky

Well I refreshed my viewing card but no success so I phoned sky. Kind man had me trying several different things and then it seems to work. Unfortunately I didn't have time to write all the instructions down but somewhere in my system  it was configured to HD rather than SD.
