Hello
I have Sky Signature with a Sky Q Box. I fancy trying HD to improve picture quality where only SD currently applies. There is a current offer to add HD with first month free which sounds good for a trial of this service. My question however is if I add HD even just for the free trial will that start a new contract period, does anyone know?

Well I feel better already having got that off my chest.
Thanks for all your interest
Hi @Giraffe74
If you are interested in Adding HD to Q why don't you speak to Sky and see what they do to your total package to recontract. You never know you may get a better deal all round.
You are under no commitment and can see what they can offer.

It should say in the T's & C's of the free trial. If not then it would be best to speak to Sky directly and get it confirmed by someone before committing.

Yes in T&Cs it says a new 18 month contract is required so that's it for me I will keep things as they are for now.
Thanks

Yep, that's usually the case. Stealth contract extensions are very common with Sky.

Afraid that's the same with any of the current suppliers. Any change in package necessitates a new contract.
