sky payments

Good Morning, I sam passing on a warning here, we canclled Sky spots about 3 years ago, suddenly I got a high bill in August which I pay by Direct Debit and it was because Sky had reinstated Sky Sports, which we had cancelled 3 years ago, and had not informed us, so the advisor said we would get a refund on our next bill (September).  Last month we re-negotigated our contract with Sky and asked that Movie Channels be removed, as wel;ll as the Sky Spots which cancelled 3 years ago.  I checked my Direct debit this month and they have taken more money than they said they would, and no refund for the Sky Spots debarcle.  So I called them.  It has been resolved now, but just a warning to everyone check your payments to SKY as I said it appears SKY seem to be helping themselves to what amoun they want from  your bank account.  If this does not get settled the way the advisor said that it would I will have no hesitation in going to the banking obudsman.  Be careful.

Glad you got it sorted but you are right it is always worth keeping an eye on your bills across all companies you deal with.
