The money is not owed from the equipment. It is the money they took out of my account for connection that never happened. engineers came round and said connection was impossible and that I would get my money back. Not happened and I no longer have an account with them as it was cancelled.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAlthough you are not a customer can you access the billing account to see if there is a credit on it because if there is then this can be refunded. If there isn't anything there or you can not access it then you will need to call Sky about this.

As far as I know when your Contract is over Send back loaned Hardware as in sky box And relevant wires And chargers Within sixty days Sky will send you a pre packaged Royal mail document to send it back Once they have received it you are supposed to get a refund I've credit that is left On your account Please don't hold me to this This is what i've read on the T AND C .S of sky But good luck
Are you replying to another poster, or are you saying that the credit on your account has arisen because a charge for not sending Sky's equipment back on time has been refunded to your Sky account, and it's this that you want to be sent to your bank/card?

It was money they took out for me to join sky, not to do with the equipment. Please has someone got an email or number I can contact them on as I no longer have an account or want an account which you need one of these two when selecting in the phone queue.

It's very easy if this money shown on your accounts you're entitled to your money back and the section 75 of the consumer rights act so if not ask your bank to charge it back. This is called a charge back. If this doesn't work , take them to the ombudsman , who will make them pay you

I sent the equipment back on 30/04/2024 I'm can prove it

I cancelled Sky (equipment has been returned and acknowledged). My account is in credit and states on the account that this amount will be deducted off my next bill! There won't be a next bill so how do I get my money back
please?

Refunds can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection providing the payment method is still active on your Sky account. (This will take longer if the payment method has been cancelled as Sky will have to manually raise a cheque and post it to you).
If you wish we can help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if that’s what you want to do but we need confirmation it’s currently showing as a credit on your Sky account.

I’ll escalate your original post to Sky when it’s more than the obligatory ten minutes old and their Messaging Team should contact you later.
You need to watch out for a post from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread fairly regularly.
This link explains what happens.
