i didnt have enough funds to cover my next phone billing and i payed the next day by making the full payment through the sky app. its been 2 days and im getting a notification that i still need to pay?

The manual payment is for next month's bill.
The DD will be reattempted in 10 days time. If that fails then your services will likely be restricted.

In that case there was no need to make a manual payment because should a direct debit not be taken for whatever reason Sky will always try again 10 days later. This payment you made should now appear as a credit so can either be used against next months bill or can be refunded to you.
