I got sky cinema free of charge for a month when i joined sky in April. Im wondering when this ends as im not interested in paying extra for the product.

It won't end until you cancel it. 31 days notice to cancel is required.

....so you have to cancel on the same day you got it.

As noted, as you have to give 31 days notice you'll pay for any period past the free month.
