I am trying to refer a friend to sky but the link doesn't seem to work

The link should be in this format:

https://refer.sky.com/xxxxx-xxxx

So if it isn't working have you tried a different browser ?

I've tried this but it says not legible as an existing customer. When I signed up I was told new and existing could benefit from this.
