joining sky

hi, ive just cancelled my virgin package which disconnects 24th oct, my quetion is if i join sky today and get them to install on the 23rd oct will my virgin package end today? or end on the 23rd when it installs. thanks for your help.

What services are you referring too?  If you are looking for continuity then you shouldn't have cancelled but use One Touch Switch (for broadband).

...there's no guarantee that you can pick your installation date either (as it will depend on engineer/infrastructure availability)

Hi @Aaron136   Assuming that you are talking about broadband, you shouldn't have cancelled your Virgin connection, but left it to Sky to coordinate the change. Sky relies upon Openreach to do the work, and if it is like my neighbour, it took Openreach nearly three months to do the work. That is if you don't already have an Openreach connection.
