Downgrade back to Sky Essentials

Hi, Is there a way to downgrade back from Sky Ultimate to Essentials? I upgraded last month for access to one show on U alibi but it has too many adverts breaks so I no longer want it. I'm not using anything that Sky Ultimate has to offer so please help me downgrade. Thanks.

Well, that's annoying. 

I already have a Disney+ subscription for 1 year, so I don't need to activate it through Sky ultimate. 

If I did, I can be certain I won't get a refund from Disney. 

Oh well. It never surprises me that you can upgrade whenever you want but can't downgrade. Such a con.

I would check that as it possible to have Sky ultimate on a monthly rolling contract but if you have got at a discount then yes is probably a 24 month minimum term. But when you changed to Sky ultimate you should have had a email confirming the change and  should say on there it if it is 24 month minimum term contract term. Or if you look in "Your products" either in my Sky app or by loging on to the Sky.com web site, again should say if a minimum term or not.

Actually if you subscribed direct though Disney + according the Sky publicity when the sky Disney + offer started in March if you had yearly subscription though Disney and you activated Disney+ though Sky, Disney should refund you the balance outstanding as the attached screenshot shows.
