incentive card wont activate

i have just joined sky and received my edenredcard but when i go to the website to activate after completing the first page when i press next the first page dissappears and the second page is blank/does not appear. i have now done this several times and beginning to wonder if its me or a faukt with the activation site

I am still struggling with this wretched incentive card. I used the contact number to activate the card as it would not activate online. I have tried to use it at B&Q, petrol station, draw cash but still it didn't work so today i called again and was told it did not work for certain things like petrol, cash, gambling but it should have worked at B&Q. so tonight i tried to buy paint from B&Q after i was assured it would work and yet again it would not work. My frustration is growing. Has anyone had success with the card or is it just me

The links people have posted, whilst appreciated, don't give any contact details. The number (every day for 5 days) says they're closed for staff training, their email doesn't work and sky won't help

@Sue+GW  Sky won't help because the card is provided by Edenred, Sky does not have access to their systems, it is Edenred you need to contact.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Tried that. Email bounces back. Their phone lines have been 'closed for customer training and will reopen tomorrow' for 5 days now. Online activation won't work.

Hello

I have the exact same issues with this. Is it a form of fraud by this company edenred? It is all so very strange. Sky issue the cards as a 50euro incentive qnd therefore they remain responsible to ensure customers retrieve this incentive.

  • I would agree with that - the same way Sky pays compensation when Openreach doesn't turn up.
  • I would contact Sky again.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 25 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.

Hi for anyone still having problems with activating your Edenred card, I have just had the same problem and finally got it done.  When it asks you to enter the card number, you may like myself have been putting in the long number on the front or even some zeros followed by the 3 numbers on the back.  The number you need to enter is the 8 digit number in the top right corner on the reverse of the card.  As I said it finally worked for me, hope this helps anyone who is still having problems.

I am having the same issue. As is my friend. We gave called edenred and requested an activation code, which will be sent in 3-5 working days 🙄 so guess will just have to see what happens then.
