Just receuved my sky bill which i pay by invoice, due to be payed by the 8th,they will be very very lucky if they get it,ive been with them over 20 years now, theyve lied 3 times to me over the phone altogether recently,im not just saying sky does this,it happens with other companies has well,3 times, first of all a few months ago ,i was told that the hd boxes which ive got was shutting down,i then found out they only said that to get us to move over to the q boxes, then the last couple of weeks id phoned sky up 5 times about the problem i was having not being able to go on sky go ,on my windows ten, which ive still got that problem, now the first occasion i phoned up about that,i was on the phone for ages having to be passed on to a diferent department, because i wason so long i was told that ten pounds would be taken of my bill, and its not been taken off,i was also told sky would send me a special link through my e-mail where i could acsess sky go,thats not happened, now im in a contract still ,a new contract i took out a few months back to get my sky subscription a bit cheaper but theyve not kept there bargain lying to me like this.and i dont care how many of you suport sky,yes i do know some of you do,a post of mine was removed the other day off of here, probably because people dont like to hear the truth,so if u want to also remove this post,go ahead and do it.

I'd caution against not paying your bill on time. It won't achieve anything useful and will only result in all your service being suspended and make it more difficult to speak to Sky.

In addition to this it will also unfortuantely likely be added on to your credit report.

I do understand your frustration (I can't get Sky Go to work on Windows 11 either though I haven't done much investigation as to why), but withholding payment won't help - it will be more like 'cutting your nose off to spite your face'

see at present windows 10 is the only way i could get sky go,which features films any time ,box sets and catch ups mark,so im missing out on all that,i just dopnt know what happened i was getting it all on my windows desctop cmputer up to a few weeks ago, then for some reason,i cant get it now ,ive tried a few things it makes no diference.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSkyGo is working fine on my Windows 10 setup. So it's not funamentally 'broken'.
Might be worth posting in the Go Forum: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Go/bd-p/skygo

I have had an e-mail from sky regarding the complaint i put in today, saying were sorry about the frustration we have caused you,we value you has a customer youve been with us for over 20 years,we will call you and explain more about the hd box,and what you was told before, and we will give you technical assistace over the phone on our to get sky go back again on windows 10,well theyve all ready tried that every time i phoned them about it,so thats not going to get me back on sky go,there wasnt nothing mentioned about the ten pounds i was told that would be taken off my bill, because i was kept waiting on the phone for a while, anyway iff nothing at least theyve replied back, thats about the most i can expect from them.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@sweetheart4321 You had extensive posts on the Sky Go board regarding the issue with Sky Go, infact numerous posts on multiple threads about the same issue which ended up being removed due to the mass duplication.
Your repeating the same issue in this thread would likely get them removed again.

well after that complaint i put in to sky, theyve just phoned me,has far has sky go is concerened.they said ive got the wrong version of windows 10 to acsess it,now i do know that my windows ten did update recently on its own to another version,so they might be right about that, and they cant help me get the right version,i need to see someone technical probably a computer shop to do it,and if anyone gets fed up with me going on about these issues on here, they only have to ignore my posts ,instead of moaning about me keep putting them up,they did say at sky we can give u a sky q box for free to then watch sky go that way,but it might be free to set it up,but i bet theyd still charge more each month for having it.

Sky do offer 'free' box 'upgrades' from time to time. It shouldn't change your monthly subscription.
However, Q is quite different to HD and you cannot go back. (It will also need engineer attendance to swap your LNB)
