@bitiratehere No problem i have paid past my leaving date and then been refunded with Sky, BT(in the last month), VirginMedia and Plusnet.

I have been contacted by ComReg who have told me to make a formal complaint to sky and get a complaint reference number from sky, And i have outlined the mistakes sky have made on their billing, the proof from on post that sky sent me a package for my sky hub along with my sky modem the day before my contract ended on the 6th, the an post tracking saying it was delivered back to them on the 10th of July, plus the bill they want me to pay for both my TV and broadband that they say i owe for the 15th july to the 14th of August, even though they wanted both back following the 5th of July. we will see who is correct in the not too distant future

I NEED A reference number to identify and track my complaint
 
I acquired Sky Broadband on a 12-month contract on 6th July 2023, i paid 9 day for €9 for the dates 6th July to the 14th July,
I then paid 15th July to 14 August at €30, which was my half-price broadband for 12 Months deal.
I then paid in the same month, covering 15th of August to 14th of September, which equates to you being paid 1 month in advance.
Subsequent payments of €30 were paid by Direct debit.
Now i ended my contract on the 6th of July 2024 which you confirmed, i initially attempted to give you 31 days' notice by phone,
upon twice phoning on the 3rd of June and then again on the 4th of June, the call again on both occasions cut off once the word cancellation was discussed.
I attempted to resolve this so-called technical issue by Facebook but alas no message came from any of your employees.
Not being able to get in touch in any way i proceeded to change the provider for a wifi connection to be installed on the day my contract ended, which you confirmed
the day before on July The 5th, which is one day before the end of my contract, this is shown on the email photo i have attached.
So for some reason, you seem to think i owe you for 15th July to the 14th August 2024 as i have again attached.
Also on the 6th of July you ended my Sky TV and asked for your hub to be returned, you sent a parcel for the Sky hub out to me on the
5th of July,, which was delivered to my address on 8th of July, and i sent my Sky Hub back to you on the 9th and was delivered to you on the
10th of July, this i also attach proof from An Post tracking service. Now the bill says i owe an additional €49 for my sky tv for the dates 15th July to the 14
of August, even though the TV hub was returned 5 days before that bill is due to be paid? so for some reason you think i have to pay to not be able to watch Sky tv because you asked for the Hub, which is needed to watch Sky tv, back?

@bitiratehere  Have you raised a cmplaint to Sky as the forum can't give you a reference number or actually deal with your complaint as we are customers like you.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Thank god i didnt take your advice, i complained to comreg, i got money back that i didnt pay plus 2 month refund, it pays to complain.
