Your email address cannot be updated. Please try again later.

The existing email address my account is setup is a @Virgin.net one and this will stop working in the next 10 days.

 

I need to change the email address on my account to my new @ Gmail.com address so that all communications from sky still get to me.

 

However I get the "Your email address cannot be updated. Please try again later." message when I try to change it - please help!

I've escalated this to Sky and they should be in touch with you soon about it.
Look out for a message from Sky on your email and Sky Community private messages.
Look out for the blue chat bubble within your Sky community.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

I have the same issue, too. My virgin.net email address has stopped working, and I cannot update my email address in My Details on my Sky account.

 

Please can you advise?
