Your Services are Currently being restricted help!

I keep getting a message 'your services are currently being restricted' however when I try to reinstate my services nothing is wrong. 

I called yesterday but the sales team couldn't help.

To confirm, all your services are not actually restricted as you are not behind in paying your bill ?

All my bills are up to date. I was able to order a new iPad yesterday over the phone but the sales team didn't know why I had the message

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

Hi, I have been with Sky for over 8 years now and my mobile phones for 6 years. 

I have wanted to upgrade my phones and order a smartwatch, however, I am getting this message: Your services are currently being restricted. I click on the link then it takes me to my bills , no issues found. 

Today I called Sky to find out what is happening, and they say "We know about this, 30% of customers are having this issue, whould you like to place an order over the phone?" I have asked when will this be sorted, but they can't tell me. 

Has anyone found a fix or know why this is happening?

There's no fix or workaround, other than to call, I'm afraid. As to why - presumably it's a system or account problem of some sort.

My services are the same but I'm with the customers accebility team and struggles to speak to anyone.
