What’s going on?

I tried to cancel sky and would have been willing to pay the early cancellation fees but I was told I couldn't do that. So, they put me on a basic package until my contract runs out at the end of July this year. I have two mini boxes and  I'll venting the multi room subscription until end of July but they want the boxes returned by 12 May. That means I'd be paying for two and half months for something I'm not able to use.

What did Sky say when you told them this?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Apparently the packs are send out automatically and because I gave notice to cancel rather than waiting until 28 days before the end of my contract it was sent out. They said to continue using until end of contract but then I'll get a fine for not returning in time and will have to call to discuss. I hate phoning them as everyone I've spoken to seems to be unable to sort my problems.
