Cancelled broadband in credit

It is 6 weeks since my service ended with Sky broadband (14th Feb), a further payment was taken post this time and now my account is in credit £89.42 to be taken off future bills?? Reading on here the wait is supposed to be 6 weeks for a refund, as I haven't cancelled my direct debit the refund should be straight to my account. I haven't recieved it and why does it take 6 weeks?

@LS171 getting money paid out from large companies always takes time. I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.
